Very interesting. Granted I now have 10 ply 34” tires on mine, but I rarely see more the 16-16.5 which happens to be near identical milage to my SAS 2dr Bronco. On the 5hr trip home the day I bought my Ranger Raptor, I did see 20 mpg. Not seen it since. lol

I liked it. In my 2019 Raptor, i averaged 17.5. I expect more than that out of the RR, mostly country driving so its like 90% highway.

I bought a 2019 Ranger. I love the 2.3 I have not had a single problem with it in almost 5 years.

I love my 24 RR and you're right it begs you to go fast in it and it sounds soo nice!

In the market for an SUV that can tow a small camper. Disappointed to see they got rid of the Class IV hitch in 2025, changing the max towing from 5,600 lbs down to 5,000 lbs.

My ranger raptor also in shelter green is on its way to the dealership. I opted out of the spray in bed liner this time because ford did such a terrible job on my 2021 f150 that they had to send it to rhino liner to correct it. It was thin or missing in some of the corners on the work surface and it was also cracked and flaking on the tailgate

If im only gonna keep a truck for 3 years then yes , what the hell do i care when the oil gets changed. Thats the attitude. Manufacturers dont want you to have a vehicle for 20 -30 years.

Had a 22 Gladiator Mojave hard top with Hotheads head liners, on GY 35s. Now a 24 Black Diamond Sasquatch pack (35s) with factory hard top/factory sound deadening. We will drive 100s of miles a day with much of that off road to camp or explore. Don't let anyone kid you, the Bronco is noticeably quieter inside, even though we put the aftermarket headliners in the Jeep. Never had, or felt a death wobble in the Jeep; I believe that's more of a Wrangler thing. Love them both honestly!

I can't speak to how ford did the roof on this mustang, but I can speak to my 50th anv. challenger. Dodge wrapped the hood, roof, and trunk on my car for the anniversary package. I can't see ford spraying your roof just for the package. I would bet it is a glossy wrap. I am looking at buying a 24 mustang, and I'll tell you, the interior points you hit on just about has me turned off to pursuing one now. 9 months later, would you still buy your car?

I think the US is going to dial back on the emissions stuff. China is not driving US auto engines or emissions standards. Especially now that US car sales in China are way below what they used to be. California used to lead US auto emissions standards but their recent move to kill ICE vehicles in the next 20 years means that auto manufacturers no longer need to try and cater to California. Also, companies like Hyundai/Kia have engines based on region. Smaller engines for Asian and European markets and larger ones for US markets. Not only emissions related but also gas is more expensive in Europe and Asia and a lot of Asian countries charge extra tax on gas guzzlers.

The more i compare the Zr2 and TRD Offroad, i really think all I am paying for is the TRD sticker on the Tacoma. I just wish i could trust Chevy. Starting to think I'm never going to get a 4x4. I just went looked at the TRD today, again, and noticed a plastic (they call composite) skid plate, wth. I thought it was suppose to be metal. All the options they offer on Toyota, the one they are missing is a good set of offroad tires from the factory.

I think the Tacoma’s big problem is their price points. The TRD Off-Road is $54k, with the 14inch screen. That’s close to Ranger Raptor & Colorado Zr2 pricing & those are better equipped trucks. The Tacoma TRD Pro is $66k, which is the price of decently equipped full size trucks. Great looking trucks but the Tacoma’s pricing is off
